Therapy matters,

but it’s not everything.

One session is only about

0.6% of your week.

The real work happens in the other 99.4%, as you start to weave what we explore together into your everyday life.

Still, that 0.6% matters deeply to me.

It’s a privilege to be trusted with your story, and I hold that space with care and respect.

People I Support

A simple black and white line drawing of a watering can pouring water onto a small wilted flower.

I work with people across the lifespan, from children, young people, and adults. I hold two Master’s degrees in psychotherapy, including specialist training in working with children, adolescents and families, meaning I got your back whatever your stage of life!

Adults

Maybe you're prioritising your mental health for the first time, or maybe you've tried different types of support before and want to experience something that goes a little deeper? There is no pressure here, the beauty of relational psychotherapy is the flexibility to adapt to what suits you.

Feeling like uni is meant to be ‘the best years’ but your brain didn’t get the memo? I offer a therapy space that’s calm, private, and off-campus. A place to talk openly, feel supported, and steady yourself through the ups and downs of uni life.

Students

A space where young people feel respected and understood, whether they prefer talking, creative expression, or simply having room to think things through. I work with the young person at their pace, helping them make sense of their emotions, identity, friendships, school pressures, and whatever life is throwing at them.

Therapy for younger children is playful, creative, and developmentally-tailored. I use play, art, movement, stories, and gentle curiosity to children express and process feelings they may not have words for, supporting emotional safety, resilience, and connection. Guided by a non-directive, child-centred play therapy approach.

Themes I work closely with

  • Understanding patterns in your relationships, the role you play and how to make sense of it all. This can be with friends, intimate partners, colleagues, parents, the neighbours or even people you talk to online. All relationships matter, and if you find yourself in recurring patterns of discomfort or uncertainty, it may be worth taking a deeper look at what’s going on.

Not forgetting, exploring your relationship with yourself!

  • It could be a single event, something long-term or repeated, or something that happened to people around you, it doesn’t matter - trauma is subjective!

I work closely with your experience of trauma to help you process what your mind and body might be struggling to overcome.

This work draws on evidence-based approaches and is led by your pace and readiness, with no pressure to talk in depth about what happened if you don’t want to.

  • Feeling like one part of you wants to do something but the other part is confused or hesitant?

I work with inner conflicts, self of sense, identity and all things to do with ‘who the hell am I and what do I want?’. To help you feel more at home in yourself.

  • As a proud member of the queer community I work with individuals who are exploring their sexuality, gender and relationships.

Let’s be clear, being queer is not the problem here, it’s about how that plays into your life and sense of self and others.

  • A never ending feeling of dread, worry, panic, anxiety and utter sadness and despair. I

hear you, and I bet you’ve tried all the breathing techniques and trying to shake it off and you now feel stuck in this cycle of just existing.

This work focuses on getting to the root cause of what’s beneath all this yucky stuff, to help you find clarity and begin to feel connected to yourself and others again.

  • Who actually is capable of being on top of their work load, social life, going to that gym class you keep booking onto and never show up, preparing a full week of balanced eating, showing up for their kids, walking the dog twice a day, having a 12-step skin care routine and making any time for themselves - please tell me if you have the answer to doing it all!

Sometimes we put so much pressure on ourselves to have it all figured out, that before we know it we are burnt out.

This work helps you to come back to your true values and what really matters, identifying what’s working, what’s too much and how to be a more substantial version of yourself.

  • For ages 5-12, themes show up through play, which means the young person likely won't tell me the long list of things you probably would hope they could unpick in therapy. Instead, we figure it out together, by me tapping into their world.

Common themes I work with include:

    Developmental trauma

    School worries or avoidance

Not recognising their thoughts, feelings & behaviours

Experiencing lots of change and feeling unsettled

    Experience of trauma or bereavement

Friendship struggles & feeling like they don’t belong

Generally having big feelings which they can’t put into words

(this is not an exhaustive list)

  • With teens, themes can be never ending, but a common list of problems I see include:

    Developmental trauma

    Low mood & anxiety

    Friendship & relational difficulties

    Self-harm & disordered eating

    Low confidence & self-worth

    Exam stress & worry

    Bereavement & loss

    Emotionally based school avoidance

Feeling out of control of their emotions

(this is not an exhaustive list)
